ssistance, Siri also makes a great weather forecaster. With a touch of your home button, Siri can tell you the weather, sunset and sunrise times, the weather forecast in a different location and many more.
Note: Although I am using iOS 7 to demonstrate, it works the same on iOS 6
How to check the weather
1. Long press on the home button to activate Siri.
2. Ask Siri for the weather. For example, “What’s the weather like?”
How to get weather forecasts using Siri
1. Long press on the home button to activate Siri.
2. Ask Siri to tell you future weather forecasts. For example, “What’s the weather like on Sunday?”
How to get the weather forecast in a different location
1. Long press on the home button to activate Siri.
2. Ask Siri to tell you the weather in a different location. For example, “What’s the weather like in Tokyo, Japan?” or “Is it going to rain in New York City?”
How to ask weather related questions
1. Long press on the home button to activate Siri.
2. Ask Siri weather related questions. For example, “Do I need an umbrella today?”
How to check sunrise and sunset times using Siri
1. Long press on the home button to activate Siri.
2. Ask Siri to tell you when the sunset or sunrise is. For example, “What time was the sun rise this morning?” or “When does the sunset take place today?”
How to check the UV index using Siri
1. Long press the home button to activate Siri.
2. Ask Siri what the UV index is.
